The head includes thick plastic teeth, a foam tongue, and stretchy fabric interior cheeks, with blinking eyes that activate automatically. Vinyl foam talons cover the feet, while the claws are slightly posable.

A zipper runs from the base of the tail to the shoes, allowing the occupant to step inside and become completely concealed. A shoulder harness inside buckles securely for stability. Visibility comes from a 3×5-inch internal screen showing a live camera feed from a lens in the chest. A swiveling interior handle controls head movement, while a lever triggers ongoing velociraptor sounds, including chirps, meeps, growls, and screeches. A second lever opens and closes the mouth, unleashing a roar that ends the background sounds.
